Wednesday Giveaway: Tickets to the NYC Sailor’s Ball This Friday!

Another fabulous Wednesday, and this week’s giveaway will really have you looking forward to the weekend. The good folks at New York Harbor Sailing Foundation are offering up two tickets to the 14th Annual Sailors Ball this Friday. This annual black tie event kicks off the sailing season here in manhattan, and is always a good time. Mix, mingle, dance, drink, and be merry! Tickets are on sale for $125 a piece, but one lucky reader is grabbing two for FREE!
To enter out little giveaway, all that you have to do is make sure you are subscribed to our newsletter AND have become a fan on our Facebook page. By day’s end we will pick a subscriber’s name at random, post it to the site, and get you the tickets! More details on this fun event below!
Did you know sailing season starts in Manhattan VERY soon? Well, if you don’t know about sailing the high seas here in the city, you should check out the New York Harbor Sailing Foundation. Even if you are not a sailor, you can celebrate with the best of them, this year at the 14th Annual Sailors Ball. This annual black tie party is organized by the New York Harbor Sailing Foundation and will be held this Friday, April 30!

The ball features the famous theme room format. Each room has its own sponsor as well as music selection. Guests can glide from room to room throughout the evening and experience different sounds and environments. You can start in the Mt Gay Rum Room with Caribbean music and then head to the Passoa passion Fruit Lounge with salsa music. Then stop by the St Remy Brandy and Metaxa lounge with torch singers or the Famous Grouse Whiskey room with tranz music. There will also be the Alex Donner orchestra, and late night dance room.

Besides having fun, you will be doing good. You are supporting the New York Harbor Sailing Foundation. The mission of the Foundation is to foster and promote amateur sailing of national and international importance in New York Harbor.
