This Weekend: Moms-To-Be Alternative Health Expo

Not only is it essential to always take care of our health, but when you’re a mother-to-be that job becomes increasingly important! Dealing with everything from the aching and swollen feet to the midnight cravings and heartburn, expectant mothers have enough to worry about, so why not take full advantage of all the information and help available out there!

The Pregnant New Yorker is one of those resources available to women in the city. They work to inform expectant parents on all of the events and information offered in and around NYC. An upcoming event they are sponsoring is the Alternative Health Expo taking place at Nimble Fitness on Saturday, April 24th.

Do you find yourself having all sorts of questions related to your pregnancy, the baby, and what to expect afterwards? There will be all kinds of demos, consultations, and classes from expert practitioners, such as prenatal massage therapists, lactation consultants, doulas, acupuncturists and much more. They will be on hand to offer advice, give consultations and demos, as well as answer any burning questions you may be having.

There will be several discussions and classes at the expo as well. Among the several taking place that day, there will be a pre-natal expert to lead a fit pregnancy discussion, as well as chats from specialists regarding family healthcare, the benefits of massage during labor, and pelvic muscle strengthening.

Also, one of the best parts of this expo is if you register you will automatically be entered in a raffle to win one of several baby related prizes, such as a stroller, books, gift certificates and more!

This event is perfect to bring your partner, family, and friends, as everyone has questions and will definitely benefit from learning about pregnancy, babies, and motherhood and all of the joys and hardships that come along for the ride!

The cost of this event is $20 in advance or $25 at the door.
