Profile: Anne Craig is bringing a little bit of "Anne-tertainment" to the pages of HealthyStyleNY.com! A well known Entertainment and Features Reporter, most NYC viewers will recognize her from her anchoring and reporting days at Fox5 News at 10pm. Anne is the authority when it comes to what's hot and happening in the big city, and always spots style and celebrity. She takes you behind the red velvet rope and onto the red carpet with Hollywood's biggest stars. From movie premieres, to Broadway opening nights, Craig has your inside look. Many may also know Anne as "Anne About Town" - before taking over the evening Entertainment role, Craig was Good Day New York's live Feature and Entertainment reporter. She could be seen in the morning taking on the WWE wrestlers in the ring, bull riding with the PBR rodeo, and doing trapeze acts with Cirque Du Soleil. Craig started at Fox 5 as a General Assignment Reporter and serves as a Fill-In Anchor for Good Day New York, Fox 5's 5pm and 10pm newscasts. Craig started at WNYW in April of 2003. Prior to coming to New York, Craig spent five years as a General Assignment Reporter / Fill-In Anchor for FOX 35 News in Orlando, Florida. While in Orlando, she was active with the Children’s Miracle Network, hosting their annual telethon, and volunteered at local children's hospitals. Her first television job was at TV 43 in Hopkinsville, Kentucky as a Main Anchor & Reporter. Craig studied broadcast journalism at Miami University where she graduated cum laude with a degree in Mass Communications. She also completed an intensive broadcast journalism program at Stanford University and worked at Walt Disney World in their News department. Craig is a dedicated volunteer in the New York City. She works with the New York City Rescue Mission serving meals to the hungry and volunteers with the Madison Square Boys & Girls Club. She also volunteers at the Humane Society of New York working with adoption animals and received an award from "Animal Haven" for her commitment to helping homeless animals. In 2006 she ran her first NYC Marathon for the "Team for Kids" charity, and in 2008 she completed her second NYC Marathon, running to raise funds for the Alzheimer's Association. Craig resides in Manhattan with her husband Chris and dog Henry.
